Clean Campaign Pledge

 

Oregon voters deserve honesty, integrity and real solutions to the challenges facing our state.

 

  I am committed to running a positive campaign that focuses on my experience, accomplishments and views and that talks about my plans for Oregon ’s future.

I pledge that I will not personally attack my opponent or his positions on the issues or on his personal background or views.  

I will respect the differences of opinion and policy that my opponent and I may have and focus on my positions and my record. 
 
  I will condemn and seek to stop any attacks against my opponent from third party groups or individuals.

I will not spend campaign resources on any negative issue attacks or personal attacks against my opponent.

 

I challenge my opponent to also accept this pledge.

 

By these actions, I hope we can begin to change our political rhetoric in Oregon and finally solve our state’s most pressing problems.
